What we collect
ContainSharp is a personal technology-watch dashboard. The site itself does not require an account. The only personal data we deliberately store is the email address you provide when subscribing to the daily newsletter.
Newsletter subscribers
When you subscribe, we store your email address, the subscription date, and a confirmation token used only to validate that the address belongs to you. We do not enrich, sell, or share this information with any third party.
You can request unsubscription at any time from the Unsubscribe page. The process uses a confirmation email so nobody else can unsubscribe you without your consent. Once confirmed, your email address is removed from our active list.
Analytics and logs
Standard web server logs are kept for short-term operational purposes (debugging, abuse prevention). They typically include the requested URL, response status, user agent, and a truncated IP. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts run on the site.
Hosting and data location
The site and database are hosted on standard cloud infrastructure inside the European Union. Communication is encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or erase the personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. For any of these requests, write to the contact listed on the About page.
Updates
This policy may evolve as the site changes. Material updates will be noted on this page; significant changes affecting newsletter subscribers will be announced inside the newsletter itself.
